This Koyo drawn cup roller clutch with a nylon cage transmits torque between the shaft and housing in one direction and allows free overrun in the opposite direction. The drawn cup outer steel shell provides a small cross-section for use in restricted spaces, and serves as a raceway for the rollers. The clutch has a glass fiber reinforced polyamide nylon cage with stainless steel pressure springs, allowing continuous operation up to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). The rollers are made of through-hardened, high-carbon chromium steel for heat tolerance and durability, and the clutch comes packed with lithium soap grease.
